Similarly the US and UK's illegal wars and occupations of two foreign countries for over a decade might as well have been temporary annexations. The US and UK aren't exactly innocent in all this though, given the amount of military, political, and financial support they've provided to Israel. Israel did however annex the Golan Heights from Syria in the 60s, and vastly extend its borders into Palestine. I didn't say anything about Palestine being annexed by America or Britain, rather that would be de facto annexation by Israel given the extent of its blockade, occupation, 'settlements', and political oppression.
